Interesting. I find the data from hitwise goes against what a lot of other sources indicate

Just goes to show that using multiple sources for trend search or keyword identification is a must!

Interesting. When John Naisbitt, way back, wrote “Megatrends,” he deduced trends by measuring column inches devoted to topics in newspapers and magazines around the world. I wonder if you could do the same now, by tracking search term trends.

Hitwise offer a decent indication to a search phases being made on the major search engines. I don’t agree with some of the result they output regarding keyword popularities.
In any event Hitwise is a great site to use for your keyword density research.
