The Networked Revolution and “forever recession”

In his recent blog post, Seth Godin argues that “the networked revolution is creating huge profits, significant opportunities and a lot of change”. The cyclical recession is gradually ending according to Godin. The new type of permanent recession is emerging due to disappearing middle class jobs: those jobs that existed because companies had no choice other than to buy or hire LOCALLY… We might therefore experience “forever recession” in the future. Godin suggests that “…the only useful response is to view this as an opportunity”. View Seth’ article here.
